Kazakhstan extends ban on oil exports
The Ministry of Oil and Gas wants to extend a ban on exports of gasoline and some other kinds of fuel until
November 1 to help bring in the harvest.
It has asked top government officials to approve an extension. The ban, which took effect May 28, was supposed to
last only until July 1. It was aimed at ensuring that farmers had the fuel they needed to plant crops.
Gasoline is not oil!
