KAZ Group – Board Changes The Chairman of KAZ Group Limited (“KAZ”), Tony Hartnell, and directors, Michael Lillicrap and Murray Wells, have today announced their resignations from the Board of KAZ. The resignations followed a meeting of the Board to discuss issues raised by executive directors relating to the Board’s ability to operate effectively amid concerns about the process being adopted to appoint a new CEO. The Board will actively proceed to appoint new independent directors in order to achieve a constructive and balanced Board and having regard to corporate governance requirements. The Board would like to thank the departing directors for their services to the Company, especially Tony Hartnell for his considerable efforts in transitioning the business to a large public company over the past 3½ years.
