KBL Management

I thought I might post a few thoughts about the KBL management. They seem to have come in for a lot of flack lately. I don't doubt that we can come up with a few mistakes along the way, but I think most of the criticism is unjustified. The big problem over the last few years has been low metal prices. Then we had a raider who was prepared to spend (lose) $10M to crash the share price. Nevertheless the company survived. I was particularly impressed by the capital raise from shareholders using options. The Company even accepted oversubscriptions. If you are worried about dilution, you could have managed the issue with purchase of options in the issue. This was clearly an attempt by the Company to give something to shareholders who believed in the Company. It must have been highly dilutive to the CEO who holds options at a much higher strike price. I believe that they have done the best they could by stakeholders. All the best to long term holders.
