I'm afraid the toxicity of public opinion is so strong in Kingaroy that there is no way the plant will ever re-open. If the LNP are elected (and even IF the court ruled in CXY favour) the locals will rally and the politicians will join in, their
first priority being to appease their new constituents rather than defend a horribly maligned company...except, perhaps if that company were to 're-invent' it's identity entirely and re-start under a new guise. Can a Cougar change its spots enough to avoid the pitch-fork brigade? mmmmmm
