yes. I don't think it's coincidental, especially give the aggressive consolidation of the gold sector overseas and here.
KCN requested the halt in "connection with a significant acquisition transaction reported to be entered into by KCN" - hence they are buying.
DOM's simply said the "release of an announcement to the market regarding an acquisition transaction"
Also i think it makes sense for KCN to take out DOM given where both copmpanies are at right now.
GET EXCITED LONG SUFFERING DOM HOLDERS. THIS COULD BE GOOD NEWS!!!!
