If memory serves me correctly, Stephen said the 6-7c kW hydro cost represents 35-40% of KCN's operating cost. His reference to 30-35c/kW was made specifically to deisel operators in WA.
Call me old fashioned but I want to buy low cost producers. I'm a gold bug but reckon we'll see $200 oil before $2000 gold. Again, if I'm not mistaken, Stephen said their Cyanide costs have increased 15-fold in only a few yrs. Inflation is all around but being under-reported by governments. Part of managing our inflation expectations is holding back the gold price unfortunately (as much as they are able to anyway).
