Next question would be. How do we know ahead of the 30th April, that they did indeed receive the cheque? Hopefully they clear the cheques as soon as they receive them and you'd notice that on your online bank statement before the 30th. Otherwise you'd only find out after the 30th, that the cheque got 'lost in the mail'
