HOW TO CONVERT OPTIONS
About 4 weeks prior to expiry the Share Registry will send you a conversion form. Return this form with cheque (or pay with BPay if available) BEFORE expiry date. For European options, like KDRO, the shares will be credited a couple of weeks (usually) after expiry .
In summary, the share registry handles all of this activity, and they will be very proactive in getting the paperwork and instructions to you.
