Kitten Deprivation Syndrome, just to fit it in the thread title.
Do you think desexed female cats suffer psychologically because they can't have kittens?
Now I'll probably bring down the wrath of the feminists upon me when I say, as I'm going to, that women (or most of them) feel a loss at not having children.
I'm worried that my cat, an adopted stray. or a stray that adopted me, might feel unfulfilled.
She seems contented enough. But there are worrying signs. For example, she is systematically shredding all the furniture upholstery. Doesn't bother me really but She Who Must Be Obeyed is not amused.
What does worry me is that all I can get her to eat is biscuits. Tried everything. Have been advised not to give her milk, which she liked, and she took one sniff at that special cat milk and walked away.
Seems healthy enough though.
