In days gone buy female animals were often allowed to have one litter or offspring and then they were desexed.
Unfortunately today their are too many stray and feral cats around and thousands of them at RSPC shelter all over Australia and most of them get euthanazed.
So desexing your animals is an absolute must imo before they have offspring. Cats are often better if they live with another cat and often better if that cat is a brother or a sister. Dogs need another dog to live with as well. They keep each other occupied and is more normal for them.
The pets that I have had I usually feed them meat that I eat but before it is cooked. I dont feed animals tinned food at all.
Dogs love Roo meat and it is pretty cheap. The only thing with Roo meat is it is so lean you need to put some fat back in their diet and they also need biscuits to crunch for their teeth.
