    The Cougar
We're talking about WW1, not WW2. WW2 unfortunately was a war that we had to be involved with. And what assistance did Britain extend to us? We gave them, but never returned the favour. They wanted our troops to be Monty's cannon fodder in Nth Africa. Mr Curtin, God rest his soul, stood up for Australia and did what ever it took to defend this country. Withdrew troops from Nth Africa and engaged tough diplomatic negotiations with the USA, ultimately leading to ANZUS. Mr Curtin was greater than Churchill in my books!
