and so makes us more of a target for offensive action in the same manner as Iran uses proxies for their battles. any country wanting to attack the US will go for the weakest link. our naval fleet is pretty pathetic compared to China, Russia and any other state that might want to knock the yanks around. our air defences are good but not enough to really defend against invasion. and our ground forces only good for campaigns in other countries, useless in defence of the borders.

this makes a good argument for neutrality imho.
