Keating's world view and Australia's place in it, is absolutely on point. Keating wants Australia to be a sovereign nation. Anyone that does not agree with that is a traitor in my opinion. Our government are currently in the process of handing our sovereignty over to the USA.
The fear mongers that want the USA to infiltrate and dominate Australia say we should worry about being invaded by China, but it is the Americans that are invading Australia because we have idiots like Albo, Marles and Wong that are handing our country over to the US.
The Australian government should be using the resources of the Australian people to build respectful, peaceful trade relationships with our Asia Pacific neighbors, particularly China that is our largest trading partner. We should also be joining BRICS that is already the worlds largest trade alliance.
The world went to China over the last 40 years and said, "can you make this for us?" China said "yes" and now because they have been smart at business, the US want to start a war with them and use Australia as their launching pad. This would be a disaster for Australia. The US do not care if Australia destroys its trade relationships with China and our other neighbors as long as they destabilize China.
Keating is rightly putting an argument forward against US militarization of Australia and for the sake of our children and future generations, we should listen to his logic.
