I hear you prosperman but all a FHB needs to do is find ways to get where they want to....if buying a property is their dream etc etc.

you can....

buy shares in reits gaining exposure to property
you can rent to own
you can buy with another person, group, family member etc
you can save a bigger deposit
You can work a second job
You can add value to a home prior to settlment so less deposit is required

could go on with 50 more ways to get into property.

Most people put up their own roadblocks....which is fine....but youll still be in the same position in the morning.

The person with one home looking to buy 2,3,4,5 also has obstacles to overcome...its not all plain sailing whether u have 1 or 100.
