From one Wolf to another, please don't put 'buyback' and 'consolidation' in the same sentence because punters will think that they are both a good idea. A company buyback would be very sweet and great for all SHs. A consolidation could be a complete and utter disaster and rob all shareholders of massive value of their holdings. If you don't understand why, do some research on ASX, Investopedia, etc, and on 'share consolidation disasters' (note: consolidations are also called 'reverse splits'). If then you still don't get the difference, and more importantly, the difference for shareholders, then come back to the thread and I will explain.
Cheers, GW
