    that history of Arab learning and erudition is well known to anyone in the least bit interested in history. Across the Muslim world were some amazing discoveries. But just as the Christian world fell in to a dark age (though it didn’t exactly fall having not quite made it at that point) so too did the Muslims. They are yet to reemerge as nations of great learning. Instead where there is an obsession with fundamentalism they remain in the dark.

    so your point is entirely irrelevant really. But if you want to go back in time on this natter let’s ignore your version of modern levant history as well (well the version that tells you Jews don’t belong there and Palestinians - whatever you think they are - do )
