I lost half my family in Germany and Poland in WW2. I grew up in the Bronx and put up with antisemitic bullshit almost every day - from Negroes, as they used to want to be called before they wanted to be called blacks and now African Americans...travelling to my schools as an orthodox jew with my payot & tzitzit (ya might need to look them up)

And over the years as a veteran, I came to see war as it is...up close and personal and made my peace with my life

And then I've watched Israel which isn't perfect but they have tried to find common ground with the Muslims But the Muslims devoted to their ideology have no place for the Jews or their State..so then I saw the IDF fight all the wars... rinse and repeat ...a never-ending cycle of war... truce... war... truce and then war again.

But more recently as I watched the jew-hating...hamas-loving rabble overtaking places like the USA and here in Oz...Ive realised jew hatred ain't dead...it ain't over and maybe it will never be over

So now I say...IDF...Israel...do whatever it is you gotta do to beat Hamas and make it clear...this ends on the Jews' terms and not before.,

And honestly....the loss of goodwill is meaningless cause Ive come to see that goodwill is as ephemeral and amorphous as a wisp of smoke.
