There is little doubt in my mind that the SP of AZZ is being manipulated, the likely reason is to lower the VWAP and reduce confidence by the existing shareholders in the expectation that they will capitulate when the offer comes, the standard format being "$x per share, a generous 40% premium on the 90-day VWAP"

Bearing in mind that the recent high SP was ~84 cents if the 90 day VWAP was 60 cents, the offer including the 40% "premium" would be just 84 cents.

That is all covered in my submission which everyone is welcome to, already in the hands of senators, MHR's, ASIC, ASX,and a hundred or so hotcopperites.
