An unfortunate confluence of events - tax loss selling, wall street worries, soggy London etc. There's not been a tax-loss selling season like this in memory - interest rates high and credit tight - if you can manage your tax position efficiently then there's more funds to play with.... MAK not immune to this. Furthermore - why wouldn't we contract-mine the first 2 years and move gradually to owner operation?? Did anyone hear Phillip Adam's discussion on 3AR last night about development in the NT; article in the Age today about draining a swamp in Kenya to grow sugar for ethanol and in Herald-Sun today about 100,000 ha to be put to sugar production in E.Timor (Indonesian capital lined up) - sounds crazy to me but it all adds up to more phosphate requirements in early part of next decade!! I'm sitting tight and will add if price drops below $1.50.
