IMO Your characterisation uses the wrong reference points
There is no point referencing previous flu seasons / nor deaths / ...
The key reference point is the govt actions - the so called 'cure' of closures and restrictions - which is systematically crushing economies - with no obvious end in sight
How long before the draconian measures are lifted?
What happens if they are lifted and it just re-spikes?
Can any govt support get around the market as a whole?
Or just target the lucky few?
Can failed businesses re-start?
Im not trying to be a catastrophist - i'm just scared the so called govt 'cures' could do horrific/lasting damage
