@Sweetsound - I am always amazed when I hear such perfect violin playing - it is a difficult instrument. My deceased daughter was a fabulous violinist, but chose the less classical career path. Her eldest sister has now taken up the violin seriously, is making beautiful sounds, but will probably only play folk music or lighter classics, have her and her friends pinned down for a concert at my house - probably after Christmas - - she is really enjoying it.

I have begun to get my garden in order - a few hours every day - and the fragrances out there are wonderful - and once that's finished, I'll take up piano practice again. Also have some recipes I still need to try: Eszterhazy Torte is one of them, it is an easy cake, just takes patience to bake the many layers - and I'll do my baked cheesecake recipe again, last time the taste was fabulous but it didn't rise enough - but friends I made it for were happy!

Have made croissants, not hard to do, but lots of butter and eggs for the genuine item - yeast pastry - I always keep pastry in fridge overnight and then shape croissants in the morning and let them rise again, of course. (I never tried escargot, nor grenoiulle rolleyes.png)

I definitely need a smaller garden too, but am settled on the idea, that it is a bush garden after all, so it doesn't matter so much if its messy - I lost my gardener - again; all they want to do is look after little front gardens . . .

Guitar?! - I like the classic sound of the Spanish guitar - hubby used to be able to strum some chords to some folk - music as well as some pop music - I used to sing - it was fun. Music should be fun!!!
Take care Mister Sweetsound - do you sing as well?
