Summary of Operations of MFAA Tribunal
? There have been 60 expulsions, suspensions or cancellations since the Tribunal was established in 2003. ? The Tribunal has had 383 matters referred to it since its inception. Following are the main types of conduct that have been found to have been “misconduct”: ? false documentation; ? failure to appropriately verify information provided by borrowers; ? false declarations on membership application or renewal forms; ? misleading borrowers; ? failure to co-operate with the IO or COSL; and ? inappropriate loans.
Would anyone know if MFS insider and relevant party loans were reported to this institution, Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia?
