I am a big supporter of the stock, the point i am trying to make is that the general consensus is that a share consolidation is not a positive thing for the company, and whilst i know why they have to do it, i think that by not getting some big boy support prior to the consolidation they are most likely going to have to use a bigger ratio than if they had gathered some support, which would have resulted in a higher share price prior to the setting of the ratio. Their only other option to get the SP up was a big announcement and so far that has not eventuated.
