Not so. You are assuming I'm Standard Eastern Time. Well I'm not! I was in bed with my warm wife when the fireworks were going off (!!!). I had done my celebrating and my wife was keen to go home before midnight. Not much point in going to bed too early and being woken up by those pesky fireworks nearby. I've seen countless firework displays and they're all the same to me now. Dog frighteners! And I was wondering if Elroy or Montec had something amusing to say.
