If you're referring to me - which obviously you are - then know that I'm not emotional about selling my position in SGH, nor am I worried about whether it was the right thing to do. My sentiment on my post as you would have noted is neither, sell, nor hold, nor buy - I am as stated 'simply wait and see' and I'm very comfortable in my decision to sell when I did and am not in the least bit worried that it was the right thing to do nor do I regret it.
My decision to sell wasn't based on SP volatility - I was a genuine long and had ridden it down and averaged on my way for the long term profitability - my decision to sell was because the ANN on 29 Feb was inconsistent with previous ANN's and I lost faith that the current management has been providing accurate and full disclosure to investors and also because the banks (who are now all over their books) seem to have lost faith in their ability to get their finance in order (understandably IMO) and have put the company on watch with a very short time frame to prove their ongoing financial viability. Hence the reason I have taken my money off the table til I see something to change both of those concerns.
In the meantime half the money I took out of SGH is re-invested and currently showing green and the other half is cash on the sideline waiting to see whether they can get it sorted before the banks move on them. What's more I did not get out at the bottom - the current SP is still below my sell price by a decent bit and if I became comfortable that they aren't going to piss my hard earned money up against the wall I have a point where I would consider re-entry which would effectively be buying back the same shares for less money and a lot less risk.
