I think the size of the debt does carry some hope with it, as people have mentioned, but i also think the bank would not hesitste to pull the pin, if SGH cannot show a vastly improved bottom line in the near future. It may be why the banks have given them a month or two breathing space. The bank wont tell them how to run their business, and/or what they should do in a practical sense to make their business viable in the banks eyes. However i could see the banks telling SGH these are the types of numbers we want you to present to us in a month or two, its up to you (SGH) to make it happen, and as the bankers left the SGH HQ they probably said, hurry, hurry, tick tock goes the clock, show us what your made of and try and surprise us!
