I watched the program and I've got to say I'm disappointed in 4 Corners , and that's speaking for both sides of the argument.
There is no doubt that things such as leaking wells and the fact that they haven't been fixed is absolutely not good enough . Decent consultation ( although you don't get the full story ) also not good enough. The good news is that all these things can be fixed with better management and quality control. I say this based on my experience from both an industry and farming background.
They didn't do any favours for the farmers either showing the bloke losing the plot at the QGC site. I'm sure that's not a good or fair representation of the cow cockies. As for the guerrilla sample taking , exciting tv but not very scientific really.
Looks like 4 corners is going for ratings. Felt like I was watching A Current Affair.
