Thanks to 5hareholder for an outstanding post and mihal for an almost equally outstanding follow-up.

You have articulated such "fundamentally" sound principles - principles I almost subconsciously use to base my strategies on.
I've tried to get my head around TA, without much success so far, but ultimately believe that TA is a tool to use to determine exit and entry points into a stock which you have decided to get into or out of on fundamental grounds - i.e. allows you to fine tune decisions you have already made on fundamental analysis, thus allowing you to improve your return, without actually providing you with information as to whether or not to invest in a company.
