I agree with everything you have said, but perhaps I've taken it further. I only read certain posts on CCC from people who are discussing company related events and pay more attention to the announcements and websites.

I'm checking on how my company is going, the market it is in and the prices we are getting for our coal.

Yes, I do watch the SP...but for the reason as contained in a few of my favourite Buffettisms as listed below:

"Stocks should be treated like groceries;
when they are on sale, it pays to buy more of them."

"Never pay too much for shares -- it's like buying clothes you just have to be patient and wait for the sales to get a good discount"

"Whether were talking about socks or stocks, I like buying quality merchandise when it is marked down."
