If ALB stick to their $3.00 bid then it gets voted down by shareholders (primarily Hancock).
Possibly, SP slides because of loss of take over premium. Equally as possible, the SP after a small slide is supported by shorts exiting and the inexorable march towards completion of the project.
This scenario has been suggested countless times!
