The Board unanimously supported the ALB $3 offer in the absence of a superior proposal. They also executed an exclusivity no talk agreement with ALB during the DD in the absence of a superior proposal. That is why they have said nothing to date. They legally can't. They knew Gina was on the register under 5% at the time of the ALB $3 offer but she wasn't talking. Gina then bought wildly, I think now well over 18% and climbing. Legally the Board can't say much until after the DD finishes which is tomorrow I think. They can't talk to Gina until then but I have no doubt they will try tomorrow. There is nothing for them to say until they have a superior proposal and then all bets are off. I sincerely hope Gina has a superior proposal and then the Board can flush the ALB offer down the dunny and can reset either with or without Gina. A statement that we are going mining with Gina as the largest stakeholder who will help us get debt funding if required is what I want most, failing that a $3.50 bid for the lot is the silver medal. It is still being stolen from us at $3.50 but better than ALB, who can then counter bid. I am expecting lots of announcements from the Board soon.
