The problem with your argument is that PMM have nominated Piercy as the "independent" chairman. Your analysis is fine if shareholders do not vote for Piercy or PMM only get one board member. Your view of the tenement purchase is correct IMHO. No deposit should have been paid without shareholder approval for the transaction-
