Hi PD,

I have steered away from CSG since some involvement with one of the Gladstone LNG plants upstream development. They need 1500 wells plus a gathering system, water separation, desalination, compression, gas dehydration plus thousands of replacement wells over the life of the LNG plant. There are also the gas and brine pipelines to the coast.

Natural gas onshore beats CSG hands down. If similar traps and pay intervals occur in the basin, MEL could be big. However NG usually requires dehydration and possibly sulphur removal before entering the trunk pipelines.

Offshore, I have read that WPL require only 4 wells to supply Pluto.
