was that the peak retail cost? Long running costs are considerably less than this, especially for industrial customers. I reckon that $250m sounds pretty out there.
The proposed plant is a gas engine which has an 'ordinary' efficiency but I think the cost profile suits the smaller plant. For something like a 150MW plant that would be most likely a baseload supplier, they would probably be shooting for a CCGT, which has a higher efficiency for LT operations than OCGT.
