Keeping up to date with the legal cases, page-2

After the wrapper case win I've been a bit slack on keeping an eye on the case.

A court date has been set for 10 April 2017, it looks like this was set awhile ago so might have already been discussed I just didn't see or forgot about it.

The motion to compel relates to alleged failure by Whetstone to provide documents under requests for document and for responses to interrogatories. Seems Whetstone agreed to provide certain documents but hasn't nor responded to the interrogatories. So could be in some bother if this is the case.

It's worth a read the most interesting bit is the 2 pages of the motion and exhibit C.

Also Whetstone commenced another proceeding against Yowie. It seems to be just another breach of contract claim, I can't ascertain what the difference is between these and Whetstones previous claims. Yowie has stated that the case should be dismissed as it should have been claimed in the other proceedings.

Whetstone issued interrogatories under this new case and what a mess!! Really broad and unfocused - I have no idea why they are asking for this information and it's really poorly drafted. Yowie have provided their response which I have requested so haven't had a look at yet. I imagine it will be something along the lines of "Is this a joke? - These are like the ramblings of a madman".

Also it seems Whetstone may be using new counsel/lawyers. If this is the case, often it's not a great sign.
