Hanks bond was to stop return of machine
Yowies bond was to counter Hanks
Yowie and Hank probably both have not asked for bonds back for fear of triggering return of other parties bonds.
Hank lodged cash
Yowie used bail bondsman service - like a bank guarantee you give to court authorised bondsman and they lodge guarantee on your behalf. Bondsman secures it against Yowie ca( unlikely) or a bank guarantee( likely)
