so let me get this straight, when betR decided to run this promo they would have "known" that they would be ruined if only one of the predominantly backed faves got up (ie from memory, Deauville, Brazil, GSW, Geelong, Penrith)? Hardly seems likely does it considering all the time they have had to manage the NRL book. also hard to imagine they didn't take heaps of bets on south's, parra, Melb and roosters also as part of the promo. looks like a cheap promotion to me given the results and the likelihood that plenty of punters would not be as disciplined as you by not cashing out and letting it ride. when you see bookmakers getting bought out for millions, it's usually just for their customers. shows you how expensive they can be to acquire....
