Ascent is an investment company that operates a kind of carpet bombing of possible companies that may be turned around. As such they probably work on a hit ratio of 1:10 and therefore it is advisable to sit on the sideline a watch for a period of time after they become involved. If they are still there after a year then the investment has potential.
