The hatred / lack of any interest on this name is getting very interesting.
Tyro isn't acting like a company in decline as the share price chart is suggesting. It continues a regular cadence of launching new products / functionality:
E.g.
-> Embedded payments (using NFC on Android and iOS devices to take payments directly from POS systems). Means a much less capital intensive business for Tyro longer term given no requirement for a terminal:
Stock is testing the lows it hit post the debit ban announcement and confusion about impact (which I believe will have a modest at worst impact on TYR given their public support for the debit card ban). This despite the fact the market is back to all time highs and TYR continues to build its cash/capital base (hence reducing EV) given it is not paying dividends (sensible as have no franking credits due to utilisation of historic tax losses).
It is going to have to be a real stinker of a 1H25 update for this not to bounce in my view.
