This is a little OT, but worth a post because 1) Boyle was the last one to run Plutonic well (IMO), and 2) he's now CEO of New Found Gold which used to refer to itself as "the next Swan Zone". Frankly I intend this post as mostly humor.
NFG is a Newfoundland-based explorer/developer with some of the most-hyped (again IMO) drill results in the last decade at least. NFG's supporters (paid pumpers?) referred to it as "the next Swan Zone!!!!" over and over and over LOL. The share price peaked at around C$12, which BTW is when early investor Rob McEwen dumped his shares , and are now at 2.37. NFG also got in some hot water when they had to announce that the QA sides of some core samples were lower grade than some of the grades they'd earlier announced. If memory serves, there may actually have been a rational explanation for it, but credibility had suffered by that point.
All that said, NFG has some almost other-worldly intercepts, Boyle is by everything I've seen a decent journeyman mine operator, and NFG reportedly was Eric Sprott's largest investment. Disclosure: I don't own any, and haven't owned any since before it peaked at C$12. I admit I am looking a bit, now, but in general would be happier is NFG had at least a plan to go into production.
