Salesforce is a fairly popular CRM system:
Oracle, SAP, etc., have their strengths (e.g., Oracle DB is so robust that SF runs on top of it) - but SF has become more popular, in large part, because it appeals to those who use it. The last time I opened an Oracle textbook at uni, it was so dry I had to drink two litres of water afterwards. Salesforce learning is fun and "gamified" (see https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en) and at their world tours, you can complete coding or admin challenges to win plush toys (which aren't available to buy officially, so they're kind of exclusive).
My coding guru (who also runs a startup incubator helping a flying robotic taxi company - but that's for another post ) put it like this: companies like Oracle market themselves to the Chiefs; Salesforce has marketed its products to the Indians, building loyalty and passion there, so they can influence their Chiefs..
It seems to me that with the Pi and now the shirts, BRN are doing something similar..
