    Simplesimone, what don't you understand about polluters passing these costs on to the taxpayers?

    It is very unrealistic to think they will just take if off their profits.

    People will pay this tax indirectly by way of increased costs of living.

    To suggest they won't is being VERY simple minded indeed!
