The death of Ken Talbot has certainly had a negitive affect on Karoons trading, as you would expect.
Talbot Group Chairman Don Nissen has indicated that the group has no intention of reducing their holding in Karoon. They intend to carry on with "business as usual".
It has been reported that Karoon heads Mr Talbots share portfolio as far as value goes, so imo it would be a nice tribute to him if the group shares his vision and see's this through.
If for some reason,(and there could be many after such a tragedy) the group decided in the future to reduce their holding in Karoon, it would be most likey that the holding would be offloaded in one lot, and would not show on market until after transaction had taken place. Its also my opinion that if this did acure, that it would not happen at a fire sale price.
You can rest in peace Ken Talbot, you have done so much to help others not as fortunate as yourself.
