i could be wrong, however i am of the opinion that jury members are allowed to comment after the conclusion of the trial.
They are only privy to evidence that anyone sitting in the gallery can aslo hear. Sometimes even less as they are ushered away behind closed doors when discussing certain law or evidentiary points whereas the gallery is allowed to stay.
Court transcripts are also available of all of the court cases so anyone will have access to these as a matter of public record.
Points that they are not allowed to disclose is the verict decision process. As it is in this case the decision for the recommedation to go to trial was made by a magistrate.
