Kristina Keneally is really dredging the bottom of the barrel in the final days of her attempt to re-enter politics after a pedestrian experiment as a media personality on Sky News.
She’s definitely better at making the news than interpreting it and on Monday the former NSW premier rolled out the race card in her tilt to unseat national tennis hero John Alexander in the Bennelong by-election.
Even for a former Labor lifebuoy who had many low moments before the voters booted her government out in 2011 on a record-breaking 17 per cent swing, this was a tawdry offering.
Trying to turn the damaging Dastyari affair back on the Turnbull Government to win favour with Bennelong’s 20,000-odd Asian-Australian voters, Keneally got right down in the sludge.
Aussies have had enough of these parasites
