We've all heard of it. But really, the only way to bet on it is to: 1) attend the track and place a pari-mutuel bet, 2) do it illegally.
Whilst, legilsation has now passed (late 2023) to allow online pari-mutuel bets (within state), no operator has paid for a licence in time for this years running.
Compare that to Australia, a leader in racing. We can place pari or fixed bets from anywhere, anytime. And were so much better off for it. We've got a thriving horse industry.
America is so slow and behind. It boggles my mind. The wheels are slowly turning. What astounds me the most, is that individual states are missing out on a cash cow/motza of revenue by not legislating.
