What I find really exciting about this news report is the following from GDC: "Our work is to offer investors a risk-free alternative by providing them with ready steam. All they need to do is to construct power plants and produce electricity."
GDC drill the holes, then rent the steam out to Independent Power Producers. There are also feed-in tarrifs that make the whole endeavour a lot more attractive for investors. It's a great model for investment because GDC take on the drilling risk.
