IMO this is in small part a continued re-rating due to greater certainty around the Senegal asset and in large part a re-rating of explorers with African assets due to Shell's acquisition of Cove Energy overnight. For evidence in support of the latter - see PCL's 16% price spike on increased volumes today on no news.
