Interesting that we had several reports last year and early this year that Kepco was looking at EXT and (if I remember correctly) they were discussing a JV with RIO.

Now they are a step closer saying that they think they can get a result this year.

They did say that "Kepco wants to buy mines that are in the construction stage, and isnt interested in companies that only have exploration projects" so that leads me to be believe that a DFS is of paramount importance to big investors.

I should add a SUCCESSFUL feasibility study is required beecause they also said "We need some projects with reasonable operating costs which can be developed into mines under the current uranium price".

That cuts out many others who are sub-economic at current prices. EXT pretty much stands alone as being clearly economic thanks to the excellent grades and metallurgical recoveries.

The last bit I especially liked : Kepco is a very big company, Chung said. We dont have any limits in our investments. It depends on how attractive the investment is to Kepco.
