Great article..... I have been ponding for some time, something I read in PDN, re: recent capital raising:
Paladin intends to use the funds raised to:
* enhance Paladin’s balance sheet flexibility to ensure Paladin remains well placed to take advantage of other international nuclear industry (i.e. not just mining)opportunities as they arise.
Paladin have said they want to get involved in downstream nuclear fuel production.
And now Kepco says "...plans to lift the rate of independent development of its power-generating fuels"
I believe you will see more miners / power gen JV's, or the formation of AREVA type organisations.
EXT's options are far more diverse, than just a simple T/O or J/V with RIO. The whole uranium miner model is shifting to being incorporated into a nuclear power model (uranium / enrichment / generation).
Fascinating to be involved in all of this.
